Neurodiversity Times Magazine
The creative voice of disabled and neurodivergent writers and authors.
Living authentically as a disabled, autistic or otherwise neurodivergent person isn’t easy. Roadblocks surround your journey. However, perseverance allows you to overcome and live your life as you wish.
Publishing your creative works as a writer or artist is difficult being neurodiverse. The process is overwhelming and often, you are simply told no. It is hard for neurotypical authors and artists to publish, it is a million times harder for disabled and neurodivergent folks.
Publishing is an unlimited excess of social rules and rejections that can make it impossible to publish for neurodivergent and disabled people who experience rejection every day.
Rejection is a default emotion for neurodivergent and disabled folks living in a world that is inaccessible, biased, and lacking equity.
What is Neurodiversity Times Magazine?
We are an autistic-owned magazine that wants to increase the visibility of neurodivergent authors, artists, and content creators. The road to publishing is full of roadblocks for neurodivergent creatives we want to bridge that gap.
Our goal is to allow disabled & neurodivergent folks that are writers and artists to have their work published and recognized.
The magazine will feature visual art, short stories, poetry, and articles on topics related to neurodiversity and disability.
